Clancy Rugg
25-year old power forward Clancy Rugg (203-F/C-91, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Musel Pikes and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 41 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Arantia (#9, 1-11) with 19-point margin 86-67. It allowed Musel Pikes to consolidate first place in the Luxembourg league. Musel Pikes have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Rugg had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Musel Pikes, through which he has constantly improved. University of Vermont graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rugg is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 10.4rpg) and averages solid 69.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Derrick Barden (196-F/C-92) of Etzella. He is American forward in his first season at Etzella. In the last game Barden recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Etzella lost that game 72-80 to the lower-ranked T71 (#7, 6-6). Etzella managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team's 8-4 record is not bad at all. Barden is a newcomer at Etzella and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Brad Reese (200-F-88) of Sparta (#5). Reese got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He was a key player of Sparta, leading his team to a 122-69 easy win against Bascharage (#10, 0-12). Sparta needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Reese has a great season in Luxembourg. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.6ppg (3rd best). Reese attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Manny Atkins (198-F/G-91) of Contern - 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Cory Johnson (202-F/C-88) of T71 - 31 points and 8 rebounds
6. Ishmael Hollis (203-F-92) of Bascharage - 29 points and 6 rebounds
7. Everage Richardson (191-G-85) of Residence - 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Shavon Coleman (196-F-92) of Amicale - 21 points and 8 rebounds
9. Oliver Vujakovic (192-F-96) of Residence - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Dean Gindt (201-PF-91) of Sparta - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
