Host teams show no mercy winning all games. The round 13 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

Total League top team - Musel Pikes (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked Basket Esch (6-7) in Stadrbredimus 85-67. The game without a history. Musel Pikes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Musel Pikes forced 19 Basket Esch turnovers. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and international forward Jean Kox (196-90) chipped in 25 points. Musel Pikes' coach Frank Baum used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American swingman Jermont Horton (198-84, college: Rutgers-Newark) responded with 23 points. Musel Pikes have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-2 record, which they share with Amicale. Basket Esch lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with T71. Musel Pikes is looking forward to face Contern (#3) in Luxembourg in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Basket Esch will play at home against Arantia and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
Second ranked Amicale blasted bottom-ranked Bascharage (0-13) in Steinsel 112-64. Bascharage is still unable to win any game. American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Billy McDaniel accounted for 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Trey Zeigler (196-91, college: TCU) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds for Bascharage in the defeat. Bascharage's coach Brian Carroll gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Amicale. Defending champion (11-2) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Musel Pikes. Bascharage lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Amicale will play against Etzella (#4) in Ettelbruck in the next round. Bascharage will play at home against Residence (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Arantia was destroyed by Etzella on the opponent's court 89-47. Contern outscored T71 in a home game 96-70. Residence recorded a loss to Sparta on the road 84-76.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 26 points and 6 rebounds by Billy McNutt of Etzella.

Musel Pikes - Basket Esch 85-67

Etzella - Arantia 89-47

Very expected game in Ettelbruck where 9th ranked Arantia (1-12) was crushed by fourth ranked Etzella (9-4) 89-47. Etzella dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Arantia's 28. Etzella had a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Canadian power forward Billy McNutt (203-85) nailed 26 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and the former international Derek Wilson (195-91) accounted for 18 points. American swingman Corday Sims (196-91, college: Peru St.) came up with 27 points and swingman Luc Kirpach (188-91) added 5 points respectively for Arantia in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Etzella moved-up to third place, which they share with Contern. Arantia lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Etzella will play against league's second-placed Amicale in Steinsel in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Arantia will play on the road against Basket Esch (#6) to get more than just one victory in their record.

Rather predictable result in Luxembourg where fourth ranked Contern (9-4) smashed 6th ranked T71 (6-7) 96-70. Contern players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American swingman Manny Atkins (198-91, college: Georgia St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the winning side and the former international swingman Rene Wolzfeld (194-91) accounted for 29 points and 7 rebounds. Four Contern players scored in double figures. International point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) added 26 points and 13 rebounds respectively for T71 in the defeat. Contern moved-up to third place, which they share with Etzella. T71 at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Basket Esch. Contern will play against league's leader Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. T71 will play at home against Sparta (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Not a big story in a game in Bertrange where 8th ranked Residence (4-9) was defeated by fifth ranked Sparta (8-5) 84-76. American forward Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Brad Reese (200-88, college: Texas Tech) accounted for 21 points and 10 rebounds. Reese is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) came up with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and point guard Kevin Moura (182-94) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Residence in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sparta. They maintain fifth place with 8-5 record. Residence at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Sparta will play against T71 (#7) in Dudelange in the next round. Residence will play on the road against Bascharage in Kaerjeng and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

N2 is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 5 rounds left. Grengewald managed to get the fourth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they outleveled tenth-ranked Preizerdaul 88-66. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 22-point difference suggests that Grengewald is in a good shape to leave the bottom place.
