Everage
Richardson
Experienced American Everage Richardson (191-G-85) had a great game in the last round for Residence and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 31-year old guard had the game-high 33 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Residence in his team's victory, helping them to beat Bascharage (#10, 0-14), the league's bottom-ranked team 81-67. Residence maintains the 8th position in Luxembourg Total League. Residence is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-9 record. In the team's last game Richardson had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Residence, through which he has constantly improved. Coastal Carolina College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Richardson is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.5ppg), assists (6th best: 4.4apg) and averages solid 2.1spg,61.0% FGP and 41.1% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American power forward Derrick Barden (196-F/C-92) of Etzella. Barden impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Etzella lost that game 85-96 to slightly higher-ranked Amicale (#2, 12-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Etzella still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 9-5 record is not bad at all. Barden is a newcomer at Etzella and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Titus Robinson (201-F-90) of Sparta (#5). Robinson scored 23 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Robinson's great performance Sparta lost 69-79 to slightly lower-ranked T71 (#7, 7-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Sparta needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Robinson has a great season in Luxembourg. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.1rpg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jesse Morgan (196-G-91) of Contern - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Jarmar Gulley (196-F/G-91) of Musel Pikes - 35 points and 8 rebounds
6. Billy McDaniel (199-F/C-84) of Amicale - 26 points and 11 rebounds
7. Tom Schumacher (190-PG-87) of T71 - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists
8. Ladarius Tabb (196-G/F) of Arantia - 28 points and 13 rebounds
9. Clancy Rugg (203-F/C-91) of Musel Pikes - 17 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Jesse Reed (196-G) of Residence - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

N2 Round 9 (Second Stage): T.Hesperange tries to escape the last position defeating BBC Nitia - 18 hours ago
There will be only one (last) round of the Second Stage in N2. Bottom-ranked T.Hesperange managed to get a fifteenth victory on Saturday night. This time they outleveled ninth-ranked BBC Nitia 95-75. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 20-point difference proves that T.Hesperange was well-prepared to that game. T.Hesperange maintains sixth place with 15-12 record. BBC Nitia lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 21 game...   [read more]

Total League Round 2 of Semi-Finals. Musel Pikes become finalists - 19 hours ago
Etzella - Musel Pikes 77-80 Musel Pikes upset Etzella on the road to sweep the series. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) notched 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) supported him with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Four Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds by Canadian power forward Bi...   [read more]

Total League Round 12 of Second Stage - 2 days ago
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Basket Esch (17-12) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were edged by Racing (26-3) 79-76. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Basket Esch. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Esch's 18. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 9 reb...   [read more]
