2005 - Macedonian 2006-07 Champion
The team of Strumica 2005 is the champion of Macedonia. They beat
former champions Fersped Rabotnicki 66:52 in the fifth match of the
final series of the Macedonian Cosmofon Super liga, to win the
series 4:1. They are only the third team to win the championships,
since independence in 1992. Nikol Fert Gostivar was champion in
2000, while all remaining 13 championships went no Fersped

Fersped-Rabotnicki Skopje become the FYR-Macedonia league champion for
the thirteenth time in 14 years, after beating Vardar in the title series
for the second year in a row. Rabotnicki had swept Pelister Bitola 3-0 in
the semi-finals and then captured the crown with a 4-1 victory over Vardar
in the replay of the last year Final Series. To reach the Finals, Vardar had
eliminated MZT Skopje. Even if youg guard
Ognen Stojanovski (190-G-85), played very well for Rabotincki in Games
Two and Three, the Finals MVP Award went to
Dimtche Tasovski (201-F-80, agency:
Interperformances). In the history of FYROM League, the only club which
managed to interrupt Rabotnicki's dominant stretch has been Nikolfert
Gostivar, title winner in 2000.

CHampion for the 12th time Fershped rabotnicki won both the Macedonian
Cup and the Macedonian championship this season.
After the shaky start in the league and the poor performance in the
Euro- championship Rabotnicki got back on track in the second part
in the season beating the young and un-experienced Vardar
-Osiguranje who made it to the both finals this season (cup and
