National League defending champions Athleta continued to pile up wins. They celebrated the fifth straight victory beating Siggiewi 67:54. Michael Naudi (193-G/F-80) came up with 26 points to pace the charge. Athleta recorded a 38:21 halftime lead. Siggiewi managed to slow down the hosts in the second half but they failed to threatened the margin. Dirk Schembri (193-F-85) knocked down 14 points, while Omar Said (177-G-80) had 11 points in the win. Marko Matijevic (200-F-78) answered with 16 points for Siggiewi.
Floriana registered the third win as they shot down visiting Luxol 82:69. Floriana trailed by six points after ten minutes but picked up the tempo and surged ahead for the win at the end. Evan Fjeld (203-F-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Vermont) erupted for 38 points to lead the winners. Christopher Sammut (169-G-85) added 12 points for Floriana. Jeron Belin (198-F-88, agency: Dynamics Global Management, college: St.Peter's) answered with 38 points for Luxol. Jean Paul Bonnici (196-C-88) had 14 points in the loss.
Depiro overcame Loyola 65:59 behind 18 points from Roderick Vella (85). Greg Hamlin (201-F-86, college: E.Tenn.St.) finished with 12 points for the home team. Rashanti Harris (203-F) answered with 31 points for Loyola.

Gzira Athleta are the BOV Basketball Men's 2nd Division Champions - 2 days ago
Today Athleta obtained their third consecutive win over Marvels Power Plus for a 3-0 victory in the best-of-5 playoff final. Athleta won with a scoreline of 61-38, however Marvels kept toe-to-toe with Athleta in the first half of the game, ending the first session 14-13 and the second session 26-23.
