Depiro and Luxol are fighting for the spot on top of the standings. They are scheduled to meet in the next round to decide on the winner of the regular season. For now both teams celebrated victories in the latest round.
Depiro cruised past Loyola 64:44 for the ninth win. Loyola missed their captain Christina Grima (168-PG-89) and Depiro capitalized. They built a 28:15 lead at halftime and never looked back en route to the victory. Depiro were led by Samantha Brincat (177-G/F-79).
Luxol had little problems against Qormi. Luxol stepped on the gas in the second half and claimed a well-deserved 70:17 win. It was the tenth straight loss for Qormi.
Hibs Melita registered the sixth win in the season. They prevailed against Starlites 85:31. Hibs Melita saw the return of A Cutajar into the squad.
