Athleta advanced into the championship series. They overcame Siggiewi 94:58 in the decisive third game of the series. Bonnici posted 23 points to lead the effort. Athleta led by seven points at the first intermission 22:15. They stretched the gap to as many as 17 points at halftime 45:28. Athleta continued to dominate after the big break. They posted a comfortable 65:42 lead with one quarter to go and never looked back en route to the win. Marko Todorovic (204-F/C-85) netted 20 points, while Steve Schembri (187-SF-79) contributed 14 points for Athleta. Marko Matijevic (200-F-78) answered with 14 points for Siggiewi. Peter Shoults (168-G-85) topscored with 15 points for the visitors.
Depiro also made it to the Final. They shocked Floriana 77:58 on the road to seal the next round appearance. Greg Hamlin (201-F-86, college: E.Tenn.St.) stepped up with 21 points to lead the effort. Roderick Vella (PG-85) added 19 points for the visiting side. Depiro strongly started the game taking a 20:10 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Floriana narrowed the gap at 7-point mark but Depiro took over again after the long break and rallied to the victory at the end. Evan Fjeld (203-F-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Vermont) accounted for 24 points for Floriana.
