Luxol and Loyola celebrate wins in the decisive semifinal games to reach the Final.
Luxol held off Hibs Melita 50:49 in thriller. The teams stayed neck and neck throughout the whole game. The scoreboard read 24:24 at the interval. Luxol put their noses in front 37:34 with ten minutes remaining. Hibs Melita tied things up at 43 but Luxol went on a 5:0 run and cleared off for good. Robin Murphy (183-F, college: S.Mississippi) notched 21 points to pace the winners. Mandi Sciortino added 9 points in the victory. Joselle Cardona (183-F-87) answered with 15 points for Hibs Melita. Lena Gipson (182-F-88, college: Santa Clara) notched 13 points in the loss.
Loyola rallied past Depiro 66:49 behind 27 points from Grima. Loyola stormed into the game taking a 16:6 lead at the first break. Loyola extended their lead to as many as 16 points at the final break 52:36. Depiro failed to threaten the margin and had to surrender at the end. Desarae Johnson (185-F-88, college: Jacksonville) provided 20 points in the win. Stephanie De Martino (184-F-93) answered with 12 points for Depiro. F Bianco had 10 points in defeat.
The Final series is slated to start on Wednesday.

Hibernians ink Rachel Kehoe - 7 days ago
Hibernians (Women League) agreed terms with 24-year old American center Rachel Kehoe (192-93, college: E.Michigan, agency: Gamble Sports Management). She played last season at Unio Esportiva Mataro in Spanish Liga Catalana. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Mediterranean Cup 1st Team in 2017. Kehoe graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2016 and it will be her second season as a professional player. Vitoria SC inks Trudy Armstead, ex Hibernians - 1 month ago
Vitoria SC (1Div) signed 26-year old American forward Trudy Armstead (185-91, college: Northwestern State). She played last season at Hibernians in Maltese Women League. She helped them to make it to the Supercup final. The previous (2016) summer Armstead played at Whittlesea in Australian Big V where in 16 games she had 13.8ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.1apg in 2016 season.
