Loyola's Brietta Thomas 5'11" Guard (LA Tech NCAA 1) made her first return to the line up since the preseason due to league rules with a statement game. Brietta missed all of the Shield games up to this point due to league rules and a hamstring injury. Brietta made her return to the line up with 34pts, 8rebs, 6stls, 2ast, 1blk FT: 7/10 FG: 9/14 3PT: 3/6 in a season opening victory for Loyola over Starlites 70-49 as Loyola moves to 1-0 and Starlites falls to 0-1. Many question in the off season if Thomas could play in Europe even though it is early on she has proven she is an early MVP Candidate in the league. Brietta also is apart of the Loyola U23 team and we have got notification she scored 40points Sunday night in the u23 Victory over Depiro.

Honorable Mention:

Khadi Saine Sagna (Hibs) win 28pts, 19rebs,3blks, 2stls

Brittaney Thomas (Phoenix) loss 34pts, 6rebs

Aleksandra Ratomska (Athleta) loss 15pts, 8rebs, 5stls, 1blk
