1.Shawn Morgan 6'6" G/F (Arkansas State NCAA 1) Depiro was not expected to play in the game 12/2/2012 against Luxol due to a tore calf muscle tore the week before in the Shield Championship as reported late Friday night by Eurobasket.com Correspondent Steven Dolan after speaking with Morgan on Friday. To the surprise of everyone Morgan took the court against Luxol and looked like a man simply on a mission. Morgan led Depiro to a 77-62 win over the undefeated Luxol team led by Stephen Shackleford. Morgan had 28pts, 10rebs, 6ast, 4stls FG: 12/14 while knocking down 4 free throws in the win. Morgan is currently avg 27.3ppg (2nd) 8.8rpg (9th), 5.0apg (2nd), 3.7spg (1st) and is also the top plaery efficiency wise for the league. We was able to get a word from Morgan after the game " I was not sure if I was going to get to go this game but we had started 0-2 in the regular season and this was a big game for us. I could not help my team by sitting on the bench and I felt like I owe it to the club to give it what I could and get the Win. 2. Stephen Shackleford 6'6" G/F (UTSA NCAA 1) stats wise had another big game but could not find a way to will his Luxol club to a victory over Deprio and Shawn Morgan. Shackleford continues to put up high numbers points and rebs wise but it is taken him a lot of shots to get those numbers. In the Loss Shackleford had 36pts, 24rebs, 5ast, 1stl shooting FT: 12/13 FG: 12/24 and 3PT: 0/8. If Shackleford can get his shooting percentage up and become more efficient on the floor it will be hard for him not to be competing for leagues MVP at the end.

3. Peter Shoults, Sig (W) 24pts,8rebs, 8stls, 5ast

4. Ant Jose Timor, Loy (L) 16pts, 21rebs, 2stls, 1blk

5. Chris Summut,Flo (W) 21pts, 7rebs, 7ast, 4stls

6. Marco Todorovic,Ath (L) 23pts, 14rebs, 1blk, 1ast

7. Rob Vella, Dep (W) 13pts, 13rebs, 5stls, 1ast

European Leagues Assist NBA's World Domination - 4 days ago
The NBA is experiencing a gilded age. Clubs have never been more valuable, television contracts have never been more lucrative, and investors are chomping at the bit to invest in the league. One of the reasons The Association has been turned into a license to print money is basketball is played all over the world, especially in Europe. Next to football, there's not a more popular team sport on the globe. It's interesting that on the world stage, basketball is second to football. Yet, in...   [read more]
