For Floriana points came primarily from Patus but Virtys had more treys by Bonnici, Shoults and Jacob Formosa to and at half time they were already 19 points ahead 49-30. In the third session, Floriana did not show any sign of recovery as champions continued to press with more points by Formosa and Shoults. After a triple by Patus for Floriana, Virtus made another 12-0 run led by Santo, together with treys by Camilleri and David Bugeja (180-SG-92) as they increased the advantage 70-41.
