Floriana resumed with their league commitments with a victory against Bupa Luxol 87-74. There were several three pointers on each side with Jean Paul Bonnici of Luxol netting a total of seven. Floriana were 10-3 ahead in the first minutes after two treys by Lee Ross. They increased the advantage with points by Nigel Sultana but Luxol replied with three triples by Jean Paul Schembri and two from Bonnici and leveled the score 24-24. Luxol took the lead in the second quarter after a 14-4 run. Floriana replied with a 7-0 run of their own however Luxol were still 45-39 in front at half time. After the break, there was a good run by Floriana. In fact after a trey on each side which kept Luxol in front 50-42, the greens had a strong 24-2 break with triples by Ross and two from Chad Patus (203-F-87, college: Belm.Abbey) as they closed the period 69-55 ahead. In the last quarter, Luxol tried hard to recover the deficit as they made a 9-2 run but Floriana held on to their lead as they had more treys by Patus and Ross to win the game 87-74.

In the second match, champions Falken Cynergi Virtus obtained their sixth league victory against Hibernians 90-62. The game had a balanced start with Hibs going 11-8 ahead after points by Marco Matijevic and a trey by Kieron Caruana. Virtus replied with an 11-0 run with points from Chris Santo (196-F, college: St.Anselm) and Jacob Formosa to close the session ahead 19-11. Virtus increased their lead in the second quarter with more treys by Shawn Pace and David Camilleri. Caruana netted two triples for Hibs before an 11-2 run by Virtus who went for the break in front 45-29. Virtus never gave the possibility to recover as they opened the third session with a zone press and 14-5 and 13-4 runs consolidated their lead 74-43. In the last quarter, there was time for more treys by Formosa for the champions. Hibs closed the game with points by youngster Isaac Bonett together with Fabrizio Mariani but Virtus won the game 90-62.

Gzira Athleta maintained their positive moment and obtained their fourth victory against Pavi Depiro this season. Depiro took the first lead of the game after points by Kurt Xuereb and Micheal Nwelue. Athleta replied with a 9-0 run and although Depiro replied with a trey by Timothy Zammit, Athleta sealed their advantage and closed the session in front 23-16. In the second period the score fell away on both sides and Athleta retained their advantage at the interval 35-25. In the third session Athleta moved on with a 9-2 run including points by Lee Fisher (198-F-89, college: Chicago St.). Depiro reduced the gap after an 8-3 break however Athleta were still leading 37-53. In the last quarter, Depiro kept their momentum and went for another 9-0 run which saw them reducing the dis-advantage to just 8 points 50-58. Athleta then started to reply to the opponent's baskets and also closed the game with a 9-0 run including a Francesco Mifsud Bonnici triple to win the game 74-54.

Today Athleta obtained their third consecutive win over Marvels Power Plus for a 3-0 victory in the best-of-5 playoff final.
