ASEM bring in Michaela Obad (190-F/C-92) and Marina Gapeeva (188-C-83) for 2012/2013 season.
ASEM re-signed 21-year old international forward Cristina Gontari (179-F-91). She played there last season. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Gontari has been also a member of Moldovan international program for some years. She played for Senior National Team this year and previouslyfor U18 National Team in 2009. Gontari represented Moldova at the European Championship Of The Small Countries this year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 4.0ppg, 2.8rpg.
ASEM re-signed 22-year old point guard Nadezhda Gribannova (165-PG-90) and confirmed in their roster 21-year old guard Adriana Paladi (170-G-91).
ASEM confirmed also in their roster 20-year old domestic international shooting guard Liubovi Nedranco (172-SG-92). Nedranco also represented Moldova at the European Championship Of The Small Countries this year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 4.4ppg, 2.0rpg.
ASEM inked 29-year old Moldovan international center Marina Gapeeva. She played most recently at Politehnica National Iasi in Romanian Division A. She was voted to Moldovan National Team in 2012. Gapeeva has played for Moldovan Senior National Team since 2010.
ASEM confirmed in their roster 22-year old guard Diana Ropot (165-G-90) and landed 20-year old power forward Michaela Obad.
  



USEFS clinch Premier League title - 2 months ago

USEFS are crowned Premier League champions. They beat Politeh-UTM 88:55 in the second game of the championship series to complete the sweep. USEFS looked dominant from start to finish. They registered a 19:8 lead ten minutes into the game. USEFS accounted for a 42:21 halftime advantage. USEFS nailed 27 points in the third term to clear off for good. ASEM claimed the Bronze medals. FINAL USEFS - Politeh-UTM 59-45 USEFS victoriously opened their Finals campaign. They overcame Politeh-UTM for 1-0 lead. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 36-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. ASEM - Politeh-UTM 55-56 Politeh-UTM snatched a tough narrow road win over ASEM to sweep the semifinal series. The guests trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 21-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game.
