Cup of Montenegro: Buducnost took the trophy - Feb 19, 2012

Six years after the independence of Montenegrin there are still no news-Buducnost's domination continues and Sutjeska is the new victim of Dejan Radonjic 's powerfull squad. Although they played great in the final game, had a four point deficit at the halftime and even had a chance to take the win, the final score was 71:64 for Buducnost and it's another Cup victory, for the 6th time in the row.

Sutjeska started the game great, Vladan Jocovic (211-C-82) dominated under the boards and Buducnost was surprised by their determination. However, they did not let Sutjeska to get a major lead although Sutjeska's fans Vojvode fired up the atmosphere in Topolica Hall. In the second half Buducnost reminded the guests why they are considered rigth now one of the best clubs in Adriatic League. They started playing together, as a team and Sutjeska's players lost their head and were unable to get back into the game. The 3rd period result was 22:11 for Buducnost and it pretty much decided the game although Sutjeska made efforts in the last quarter to make a surprise, but all they gad was -4 deficit and a chance to make the final minutes even more interesting.

Buducnost distrubuted its points well as four players scored in double digits. The leading scorer was Bojan Krstovic (194-G-80) with 12 points. In Sutjeska Nemanja Vranjes (188-G-88) scored 18 and Vladan Jocovic added 15 although he had injury problems.

The MVP of the tournament was Nikola Ivanovic (187-G-94, agency: Beo Basket) with total MVP index 40, the best scorer was Nemanja Vranjes with 39 points in two games and the youngest player was the talented Celis Taflaj (185-G-98) who was born in 1998.
