Jeretin made it 18:14, while Rick Hughes (204-C/F-73, agency: Interperformances, college: Thomas More) closed the period at 18:16. APOEL enjoyed some lead in the beginning of the second frame, but was caught up by the opponents. Marko Simonovic (202-F-86, agency: Beo Basket) nailed a three-pointer for 38:34 halftime advantage. Rick Hughes tied the game at 40:40, while Ivan Maras (208-C-86) brought the guests the biggest lead at 50:42. APOEL had even time in the rest of the quarter to tie it again at 56:5 and took the lead at 58:56. Buducnost again went in front in the beginning and in the middle of the last period. Trailing 67:70 with just under four minutes to go, a big triple by Michael Mokongo tied the game up and Apoel never looked back as they took the initiative with some big plays and impressive defence. Lewis Hopkins (203-F/C-73, agency: Strategic Sports, college: New Orleans) led the way with 17 points, Brandon Heath (193-G-84, college: San Diego St.) netted 15, while Rick Hughes notched 14. Vladimir Dragicevic (206-C/F-86) delivered 23 points in defeat. Marko Simonovic and Ivan Maras followed him with 11 points each.

Savo Djikanovic (211-C-75, agency: Beo Basket) changed jersey of Greek A1 team AS Trikalla 2000 for Bosnian outfit BC Igokea Partizan Aleksandrovac, where he will spend rest of the current season. Igokea is the leading team of Bosnian top division so far as they registered 18 wins in 20 appearances.
Savo Djikanovic played 17 games for Trikalla this season averaging 8.5 points and 5 rebounds. His season-high was 21 points against PAOK and 14 rebounds against Olimpia [read more]
