Buducnost - Vozdovac 66-70

Round Five of the regional championship was played last weekend. Buducnost failed at home against the Serbian team Vozdovac. It was a 66-70 loss for the Montenegrin squad. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-66. Vozdovac dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Buducnost's 32. Milica Ivanovic orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Center Jefimija Karakasevic (191-C-89) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Vozdovac players scored in double figures. Guard Jasmina Bigovic (174-G-79) answered with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and swingman Nikolina Popovic (184-G/F-84, agency: LBM Management) added 19 points in the effort for Buducnost. Vozdovac (3-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Buducnost at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Mladi Krajisnik. Vozdovac is looking forward to face Radivoj Korac (#5) in Beograd in the next round. Buducnost will play on the road against Vojvodina in Novi Sad and is hoping to win this game. Round Six is scheduled for the next weekend.

Royal Castors Braine (Top Division Women) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Montenegrin international forward Milka Bjelica (193-83kg-81). She played last season at Istanbul Universitesi SK in Turkish KBSL. In 7 games she had 8.7ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg. Bjelica also played 6 games in Eurocup where she recorded 10.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg. The previous (14-15) season she played at Hatay in KBSL. Milica Milosev (ex Loko Trutnov) joins Play Off - 18 days ago

KK Play Off Happy Sarajevo (Division I) agreed terms with 23-year old Montenegrin international forward Milica Milosev (186-93, agency: BeoBasket). She played last season at Loko Trutnov in ZBL league in Czech Republic. In 29 games she had 5.1ppg and 1.6rpg. Milosev also played 7 games in Central Europe Women League where she recorded 7.6ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.3apg. The previous (14-15) season she played at Niksic 1995 in Montenegrin league.
