Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Montenegrins who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international swingman Eshaya Murphy (182-85, college: USC). She led Ros Casares to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Perfumerias Avenida (23-3) 86-68 in the Spanish LFB in Tuesday night's game. Murphy scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Ros Casares Valencia (26-0) is placed second in the LFB. So far her team won all games in the Finals. It's Murphy's first season with the team. Murphy belongs to league's most steals and is ranked #5 with 1.9spg. She also averaged so far 13.4ppg, 4.6rpg, 2FGP: 50.8%, 3FGP: 36.7% and FT: 85.2% in the 30 games she played so far. Murphy has a dual citizenship: Puerto Rican and Montenegrin. Despite she played previously for the Puerto Rican national team, Murphy is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Snezana Aleksic (172-89). She was the major contributor in a Spartak Noginsk's victory against the closely-ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (9-9) crushing them 79-53 in the Russian PBL last Wednesday. Aleksic scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Spartak Noginsk (6-12) is placed sixth in the PBL. Aleksic has relatively good stats this season: 11.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.7apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 35.3%, 3FGP: 35.8% and FT: 65.5%. Despite she played previously for the Puerto Rican national team, Aleksic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Iva Perovanovic (189-83), who plays in the Polish PLKK. She could not help one of league's weakest teams CCC Polkowice (22-4) in their last game. Despite Perovanovic's good performance CCC Polkowice was edged 59-58 at home by the leading Wisla Can-Pak. She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Perovanovic also added 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. This year Perovanovic averages: 9.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 2FGP: 61.6%(117-190) and FT: 69.1% in the 33 games. Despite she played previously for the Puerto Rican national team, Perovanovic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Forward Milka Bjelica (193-81) contributed to a Wisla Can-Pak's victory against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 73-59 in the Polish PLKK in Saturday night's game. She recorded 7 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (25-1) is placed first in the PLKK. It was her team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. Bjelica's overall stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.4spg. Despite she played previously for the Puerto Rican national team, Bjelica is currently in the Montenegrin national team roster.

   #5. International guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Spartak Vidnoye (16-2) in their game against UMMC Ekaterinburg (17-1) in the Russian PBL. She did not have that impressive stats last Tuesday. Skerovic scored only 3 points and added 3 passes in 23 minutes. Spartak Vidnoye lost 73-80 on the road to the leading UMMC Ekaterinburg. They ended the series of four consecutive victories. Skerovic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #5 with 3.6apg. This year she also averages: 3.8ppg and 3.5rpg in the 22 games. Skerovic plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #6. Swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milka Bjelica. She played also in the last Polish PLKK game facing Iva Perovanovic (above) in the other team. Dabovic managed to help TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow to win against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 59-58. She scored only 3 points. Dabovic's overall stats this season are: 7.9ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg. She is a former U18 international player as she played for the Montenegrin team five years ago.

Vanja Mudresa (ex Lovcen) signs at Vrbas Medela - 4 days ago
ZKK Vrbas Medela (1 ZLS) landed 21-year old Montenegrin power forward Vanja Mudresa (182-96). She played most recently at Lovcen in Montenegrin 1A ZCKL. She helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. Mudresa also spent pre-season at Buducnost in Montenegrin league that year. She won MZRKL championship title in 2016. Mudresa represented Montenegro at the European Championships U20 Division B in Podgorica (Montenegro) last year....   [read more]

Sumadija Kragujevac signs Sara Raicevic, ex Buducnost - 21 days ago
Sumadija Kragujevac (1 ZLS) signed 18-year old Montenegrin center Sara Raicevic (184-99). She played last season at Buducnost in Montenegrin 1A ZCKL. She helped them to win the League title. Raicevic was a member of Montenegrin U20 National Team two years ago. She has played also professionally in Bosnia (Mladi Krajisnik). Buducnost adds Filonchyk to their roster - 22 days ago
ZKK Buducnost Bemax (1A ZCKL) added to their roster 25-year old Belarusian international power forward Maryia Filonchyk (189-92). She played last season at Chevakata in Russian Superleague 1. In 26 PBL games she recorded 6.1ppg and 3.2rpg. Filonchyk also played 2 games in Eurocup where she averaged 5.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5apg.
