Here is the weekly review of the top performing Montenegrin players, who play currently abroad.

Omar-Sharif Cook
Omar-Sharif Cook
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Omar-Sharif Cook (186-82, agency: Beo Basket, college: St.John's). He led Armani Milano to a victory over the 11th-ranked Benetton Treviso (13-18) 84-76 in the Italian SerieA in Wednesday night's game. Cook was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points, made 6 passes and 3 steals in 34 minutes on the court. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (21-10) is placed third in the SerieA. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Cook is currently fourth on the league's list of best passers with 5.0apg. He also averaged so far 8.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 58.3%(35-60), 3FGP: 38.3% and FT: 78.7% in the 31 games he played so far. Cook is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA national team, Cook is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Montenegro.

Nikola Pekovic
Nikola Pekovic
#2. Second place goes to an international center Nikola Pekovic (210-86, also represented by Beo Basket), who plays in the NBA. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. It's Pekovic's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Pekovic averages: 13.9ppg, 7.4rpg, 2FGP: 56.4%(256-454) and FT: 74.3%. Despite he played previously for the USA national team, Pekovic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.
