Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Montenegrins who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Iva Perovanovic (189-83), who plays in the Polish PLKK. She could not help one of league's weakest teams CCC Polkowice (22-4) in their last game. Despite Perovanovic's good performance CCC Polkowice was edged 59-58 at home by the leading Wisla Can-Pak. She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Perovanovic also added 6 rebounds in 23 minutes on the court. This year Perovanovic averages: 9.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 2FGP: 61.5%(120-195) and FT: 69.0% in the 34 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Snezana Aleksic (172-89). Aleksic contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Spartak St.Petersburg (9-9) 68-52 in the Russian PBL last Sunday. She recorded 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Spartak Noginsk (6-12) is placed sixth in the PBL. It's Aleksic's first season with the team. Aleksic has relatively good stats this year: 11.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.8apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 36.3%, 3FGP: 35.5% and FT: 66.7%. She is in the roster of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Milka Bjelica (193-81). Bjelica managed to help TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow in a victory against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 56-50 in the Polish PLKK on Saturday night. She recorded only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 6 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (25-1) is placed first in the PLKK. It was her team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. This year Bjelica's overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.7apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 49.8%, 3FGP: 20.6% and FT: 75.3% in the 32 games. She is also a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milka Bjelica. She played also in the last Polish PLKK game facing Iva Perovanovic (above) in the other team. Dabovic contributed to a 1-point Wisla Can-Pak's victory against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 59-58. She scored only 3 points. Dabovic's total stats this season are: 7.6ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.4apg. She used to play for the Montenegrin U18 national team back in 2007.

Montenegro once again defeated Slovenia, 70-62, in their last warm-up game before the European Championship in Czech. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) scored 25 points and Angelica Robinson(197-F-87, college: Georgia) added 18. Montenegro opened the game with nine straight points and led 16-4 midway through the first quarter. Montengro defeated Slovenia 72-59 in Podgorica for their second win in pre-European Championship warmups. Milica Jovanovic (189-F/C-89) scored 28 points on shooting 11-of-14 from the field including 6-of-8 behind the 3-point arc. Irena Matovic (186-F-88), Angelica Robinson (197-F-87, college: Georgia) and Kristina Rakovic (186-F/C-94) all aded 10 points. Jelena Dubljevic will miss EuroBasket - 23 days ago
Jelena Dubljevic(191-C-87) will not play at the European Championship for the Montenegrin national team. WNBA champion injured her foot during the warm-up game against Canada and will be sidelined eight weeks. Dubljevic has spent the past three seasons playing in Turkey with Galatasaray and Abdullah Gul University Kayseri.
