Montenegro posted the second straight win over Portugal in the exhibition series. Jelena Skerovic (176-G-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) came up with 17 points to lead the hosts. Portugal however much improved their performance outscoring the hosts in the second half.
Montenegro started the game strong. The hosts accumulated a 23:11 lead after ten minutes. The margin just kept on growing in the second quarter. The Balkan team established a 45:23 halftime advantage. But Portugal showed signs of recovery after the big break. They narrowed the distance by four points in the third quarter. Portugal went on a 12:7 run in the fourth frame to get even closer however not too close to threaten the deficit. Jelena Dubljevic (191-C-87) and Milica Jovanovic (189-F/C-89) produced 12 points each for the home team. Carla Nascimento (171-G-86) and Carla Freitas (170-G-80) accounted for 11 points each for Portugal.

Royal Castors Braine (Top Division Women) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Montenegrin international forward Milka Bjelica (193-83kg-81). She played last season at Istanbul Universitesi SK in Turkish KBSL. In 7 games she had 8.7ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg. Bjelica also played 6 games in Eurocup where she recorded 10.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg. The previous (14-15) season she played at Hatay in KBSL.
