Israel finished as 13th ranked team of U18 EuroBasket Division B. They handed 70-52 loss to Montenegro in the last day of the championship in Strumica. Montenegro ended as No.14. Israel took control on its rival from the beginning and never looked back. Quarters: 15-9, 23-15, 14-11, 18-17. Nof Kedem (170-SG-94) led the winners with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Hadar Levi (170-PG-94) scored 17 points and May Dayan (170-PG-94) helped with 7. In defeat, Milica Manojlovic (98) delivered 14 points. Vanja Mudresa (96) and Kristina Rakovic (182-F/C-94) (16 rebs!) posted 10 and 9 pts respectively. The Gold belongs to Belarus. UK won the Silver and Portugal took the Bronze. All three teams won the promotion for Division A.

Royal Castors Braine (Top Division Women) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Montenegrin international forward Milka Bjelica (193-83kg-81). She played last season at Istanbul Universitesi SK in Turkish KBSL. In 7 games she had 8.7ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg. Bjelica also played 6 games in Eurocup where she recorded 10.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg. The previous (14-15) season she played at Hatay in KBSL.
