Montenegro kept their record spotless on top of 2013 EuroBasket Qualifying Round Group A. They held off visiting Serbia to climb at 7-0 record. Serbia fell at 4-3 record to share the second position with Estonia and Israel. Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89) posted 20 points to lead the hosts.
Serbia looked better in the opening quarter. They opened the game with six points in a row and soon gained a 16:3 lead. Montenegro cut the deficit but still trailed by six points at the first break 11:17. Montenegro capped the first half on an 11:3 run to take a 32:29 lead. The hosts stayed in charge throughout intense third frame. Montenegro entered the final frame up by 4 points 51:47. The hosts used a 7:0 run midway through the final stanza to take a 66:56 advantage. Taylor Rochestie and Sead Sehovic sealed the victory for the hosts in the dying minutes. Vladimir Dasic (208-PF-88, agency: Beo Basket) posted 13 points, while Blagota Sekulic (209-C-82, agency: FCM) finished with 11 points for the winners. Milos Teodosic (195-PG-87) replied with 13 points for Serbia. Nemanja Bjelica (209-F/C-88, agency: Interperformances) netted 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the loss.

Milos Jelovac (ex Rotenburg/S.) signs at Jedinstvo - 22 hours ago

KK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje (Erste Liga) landed 19-year old Montenegrin guard Milos Jelovac (188-77kg-97). He played most recently at BG 89 Rotenburg/Scheessel in German Oberliga. In 14 games he averaged impressive 22.6ppg last season. The previous (14-15) season Jelovac played at Gorstak (Prva B). He represented Montenegro at the European Championships U18 in Konya (Turkey) two years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 2.3ppg. Jelovac has played previously for Pljevlja.
