Montenegrin woman basketball team at the European Championships in France next year, playing in group A together with Turkey, Slovakia and Ukraine. This is the epilogue of today's lottery in Paris, and the competition is scheduled from 15 to 30 June.
In group B are Russia, Italy, Sweden and Spain, while Group C consists of hosts France, Great Britain, Serbia and Latvia. Czech Republic, Croatia, Lithuania and Belarus in Group D.
The competition continues through first three selections from all groups.
At the European Championships no bad opponents, but we have to acknowledge that we were lucky on lottery, which should be an additional reason for us to get ready in the best way for what awaits us in France, says captain Jelena Skerovic (176-G-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas).

Royal Castors Braine (Top Division Women) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Montenegrin international forward Milka Bjelica (193-83kg-81). She played last season at Istanbul Universitesi SK in Turkish KBSL. In 7 games she had 8.7ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg. Bjelica also played 6 games in Eurocup where she recorded 10.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg. The previous (14-15) season she played at Hatay in KBSL.
