KK Mornar recorded the first win in Balkan League season. The Montenegrin side defeated KK Kumanovo in front of the home crowd. Vukota Pavic (203-C-93) posted 21 points and 8 rebounds to pace the winners. Kumanovo slipped at 3-2 record after the loss.
KK Mornar jumped at 22:19 lead after ten minutes. The teams stayed close throughout the second frame. They traded baskets as the scoreboard read 43:40 for Mornar at halftime. The hosts cleared off in the third term. They accumulated a 10-point lead 67:57 at the final intermission. KK Mornar exploded with 25 points in the fourth stanza and sealed the victory at the end. Miroslav Damjanovic (196-G-91) netted 19 points, while Lazar Radosavljevic (204-F-91, agency: Beo Basket) added 12 points for the winners. Uros Lukovic (212-C-89) answered with 22 points and 14 boards for KK Kumanovo. Marjan Janevski (203-F-88) had 17 points in the loss.

BC Mega Leks (KLS) added to their roster 24-year old Montenegrin ex-international power forward Radosav Spasojevic (204-92). He has played for the last two seasons at Sutjeska in Montenegrin Erste Liga. In 26 Adriatic League games he recorded 11.2ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.3apg last season. Crvena Zvezda Telekom Beograd (KLS) extended contract with 46-year old Montenegrin coach Dejan Radonjic (agency: BeoBasket). He helped them to win the league title in season 2015-16. He also win the Adriatic league this and last year and they managed to play in top8 in Euroleague this season. He also won Serbian League last year and 2 Serbian Cups. KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Erste Liga) confirmed in their roster 27-year old Montenegrin ex-international swingman Sead Sehovic (197-89). He is a dual citizen owning also Bosnia and Herzegovina passport. Sehovic played there last season. In 10 Eurocup games he had 8.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.2apg.
