We bring you last week's top performances from Montenegrins who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, currently plays in Czech Republic). She contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (5-8) crushing them 74-43 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Sunday night's game. Dubljevic recorded 8 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in 20 minutes on the court. ZVVZ USK Praha (13-0) is placed first in the ZBL. So far her team won all thirteen games in the Regular Season. Dubljevic has relatively good stats this year: 11.1ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.2apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 59.7%(46-77), 3FGP: 22.2% and FT: 94.6%(35-37) in the 12 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Iva Perovanovic (188-83, currently plays in Euroleague). Perovanovic contributed to a Nadezhda Orenburg's victory against the seventh-ranked Arras (0-6) 80-70 in the Euroleague last Wednesday. She recorded 8 points. Nadezhda Orenburg (4-2) is placed second in group B. This season Perovanovic averages: 6.7ppg, 4.5rpg, 2FGP: 56.0%(14-25) and FT: 70.6%. She is in the roster of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Milka Bjelica (193-81, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Romania. Bjelica could not help CSM Targoviste (3-3) in their last game. Despite her good performance the fifth-placed CSM Targoviste lost 78-93 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Good Angels in the group B of Euroleague. Bjelica recorded 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. This year Bjelica's overall stats are: 9.6ppg, 5.8rpg, 2FGP: 56.5%(13-23) in the five games. She played for the Montenegrin national team one years ago.

   #4. Guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Dubljevic. But that was another game of her team in Euroleague which we would like to mention. Skerovic was not able to help USK Praha (2-4) in their game against Mondeville (3-3). She recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. USK Praha (#6) was defeated 70-61 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Mondeville (#3) in the group C of Euroleague. Skerovic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4. Her total stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 5.3rpg, 5.8apg and 1.2spg. Skerovic is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #5. International swingman Eshaya Murphy (182-85, college: USC, currently plays in Eurocup) managed to help Dynamo Kursk in a 3-point victoryagainst the closely-ranked VS Praha (3-3) 66-63 in the Eurocup last Thursday. She recorded only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group F. Dynamo Kursk (4-0) is placed first. So far her team won all four games in the 1/8 Finals. This year Murphy has relatively solid stats: 13.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.8spg in the four games. She has a dual citizenship: Montenegrin and Puerto Rican. Murphy plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #6. Swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for TED Ankara (1-6) in their game against Tarsus Bld (4-3) in the Turkish TKBL. Despite her very good performance on Saturday night She was the second best scorer with 16 points. Dabovic also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Dabovic has reliable stats this year: 15.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.3apg and 1.7spg. She is a former U18 international player as she played for the Montenegrin team five years ago.

   #7. International power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Besiktas (4-4) in their game against Istanbul Universitesi (4-3) in the Turkish TKBL, despite her very good performance in Saturday night's game. Jovanovic was the second best scorer with 25 points. She also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists in 40 minutes. But Besiktas lost 76-88 in a derby game to the higher-ranked (#5) Istanbul Universitesi. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Jovanovic's stats this year are: 13.5ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.5apg and 1.7spg in the six games. She is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #8. Center Ana Turcinovic (190-93, currently plays in Turkey) led Antakya to a victory against the closely-ranked Samsun (2-5) 68-56 in the Turkish TKBL last Sunday. Turcinovic recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for Antakya this season. Her team is placed ninth in the TKBL. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Turcinovic plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #9. An experienced international shooting guard Anna De Forge (178-76, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Czech Republic) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Dubljevic and both played together in the last Czech Republic ZBL game. De Forge helped USK Praha win their game against the eighth-ranked Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (5-8) crushing them 74-43. She recorded only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. This year De Forge's total stats are: 9.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg in the 12 games. She is a naturalized American. De Forge used to play for the Montenegrin national team last year. Strangely she has never played in Montenegro.

   #10. Guard Snezana Aleksic (173-89, currently plays in Eurocup) couldn't help Dynamo Moscow (4-2) in their game against Tarbes (5-1) in the Eurocup. Aleksic cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. She recorded only 2 points. Dynamo Moscow was edged 55-54 on the opponent's court by the leading Tarbes in the group G of Eurocup. It was Dynamo Moscow's first loss after three consecutive victories. Aleksic has averaged so far 5.1ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.7apg. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #11. International power forward Biljana Turcinovic (186-89, currently plays in Bulgaria) was the major contributor in a Haskovo 2012's victory against the closely-ranked Beroe 62-55 in the Bulgarian NBL last Wednesday. Turcinovic recorded 14 points in 22 minutes. It was his first game for Haskovo 2012 this season. Turcinovic used to play for the Montenegrin national team last year.

   #12. International power forward Sanja Knezevic (188-84, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Sp.Studentesc in their game against Sf.Gheorghe in the Romanian Division A, despite her good performance in Saturday night's game. She was the second best scorer with 10 points. Knezevic also added 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. But her team was crushed by 36 points 91-55. Knezevic has averaged so far 6.7ppg and 2.8rpg in the 11 games. She is also in the roster of the Montenegrin national team.

   #13. International power forward Neda Nikolic (181-91, currently plays in Serbia) helped Stara Pazova win their game against the tenth-ranked Beocin 67-60 in the Serbian A League last Saturday. Nikolic scored only 4 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Nikolic has averaged so far 3.7ppg and 2.9rpg. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team last year.

   #14. International forward Milica Milosev (185-93, currently plays in Adriatic League) couldn't help ZKK Vrsac in their game against Partizan in the Adriatic League. Milosev cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points and blocked 2 blocks in 21 minutes. Her team was crushed by 38 points 97-59. Milosev has averaged so far 6.5ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.8apg in the eight games. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #15. Former international center Milica Cvetanovic (195-86, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Edremit in their game against Canik Bld in the Turkish TKBL. Cvetanovic cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She recorded only 2 points. Her team was crushed by 26 points 75-49. Cvetanovic has averaged so far 2.5ppg and 2.3rpg. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team five years ago.


One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Montenegrin passport:

   #1. Mirjana Beronja (170-PG-86, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked Vozdovac (6-5) 80-62 in a derby game in the Adriatic League on Saturday night. She scored 9 points and added 5 assists. Radivoj Korac Beograd (8-2) is placed third in group T. Beronja has averaged so far 9.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.3apg and 1.6spg.

LF2 newcomer Valencia BC added to their roster 22-year old Montenegrin international power forward Kristina Rakovic (186-94). She already started the season at Buducnost in Montenegrin 1A ZCKL. Rakovic won MZRKL championship title and the cup. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League 2nd Team in 2015. Montenegrin post player Kristina Rakovic (186-F/C-94) joined Valencia (Spain-LF2). She will try to help the team from Valenica to avoid relegation in Spanish 2nd Division. Last season she played for Buducnost in Montenegro and won all throphies with the team from Podgorica (Adriatic League, National Championship and Cup).
