Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Montenegrins who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup). He led his Spanish team Valencia Basket to a victory over the closely-ranked Azovmash crushing them 93-68 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Dubljevic was MVP of the game. He scored 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds in 23 minutes on the court. Valencia Basketis placed fourth in group J. It's Dubljevic's first season with the team. Dubljevic has relatively good stats this year: 14.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 2FGP: 55.6%(25-45), 3FGP: 27.3% and FT: 89.7% in the six games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Nikola Pekovic (209-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in NBA). Pekovic was the main contributor in a 3-point Minnesota Timberwolves' victory against the Denver Nuggets (11-12) 108-105 in the NBA last Wednesday. He was the best player in that game. Pekovic recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks (made all of his eight free throws). The Minnesota Timberwolves have 10-9 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Pekovic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 14.1ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 48.4% and FT: 78.2%. Pekovic is in the roster of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Nikola Vucevic (210-90, college: USC, currently plays in NBA). Vucevic contributed to an Orlando Magic's victory against the Phoenix Suns (8-15) 98-90 in the NBA in Sunday night's game. He recorded 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. The Orlando Magic has 8-13 record this season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This season Vucevic has relatively solid stats: 9.6ppg, 8.7rpg, 1.5apg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 47.2% and FT: 72.0%. He is also a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Swingman Sasha Pavlovic (200-83, currently plays in NBA) contributed to an easy victory against the Toronto Raptors (4-19) 92-74 in the NBA on Monday night. He scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 5 assists. The Portland Trail Blazers have 10-12 record this season. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. Pavlovic's overall stats this season are: 2.4ppg and 1.7rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Montenegrin and Serbian. Pavlovic used to play for the Montenegrin national team back in 2008.

   #5. Former U21 international power forward Igor Bijelic (207-88, currently plays in Bosnia), who plays in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I could not help Mladost in their last game. Despite his very good performance his team was edged 82-81 on the road by the lower-ranked (#5) Bosna ASA BHT. Bijelic had a double-double by scoring 34 points and getting 10 rebounds in 35 minutes. Bijelic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #7) and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place). He has very impressive stats this year: 19.5ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.4apg, 1.4bpg and 1.1spg in the eight games. Bijelic used to play for the Montenegrin U21 national team five years ago.

   #6. Shooting guard Bojan Bakic (195-83, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to Metalac's victory against the 13th-ranked Smederevo Vizura (3-9) 86-76 in the Serbian A League last Sunday. He was the top player that evening. Bakic scored 25 points (went 18 for 18 at the free throw line !!!). Vujic Metalac Valjevo (7-5) is placed fourth in the A League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Bakic has very high stats. He averages: 17.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.7apg. Bakic is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #7. U20 international power forward Nemanja Radovic (206-91, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to Vrsac's victory against the tenth-ranked Radnicki Basket (5-7) 84-77 in the Serbian A League on Saturday night. He was the top player that evening. Radovic had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds in 33 minutes. KK Vrsac (7-5) is placed sixth in the A League. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Radovic is currently fifth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (third place). He has very impressive stats this year: 16.2ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1bpg in the 12 games. Radovic used to play for the Montenegrin U20 national team last year.

   #8. Swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87, currently plays in EuroChallenge) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Gaz Metan crushing them 89-66 in the EuroChallenge in Tuesday night's game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 11 rebounds. Sehovic also added 4 assists. Khimik-OPZ Yuznyis placed second in group K. Sehovic's overall stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.3apg. He plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #9. International point guard Omar-Sharif Cook (188-82, another player represented by Beo Basket, college: St.John's, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a 2-point Armani Milano's victory against the league outsider VL Pesaro (2-9) 72-70 in the Italian SerieA last Monday. Cook was the top player that evening. He scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 26 minutes. EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (6-5) is placed eighth in the SerieA. Cook is currently sixth on the league's list of best passers with 4.1apg. This year he also averages: 7.1ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.5spg in the 11 games. Cook is a naturalized American. He is also in the roster of the Montenegrin national team. Strangely Cook has never played in Montenegro.

Power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to a Spartak St.Petersburg's victory against the ninth-ranked PGE Turow (2-6) 63-59 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He scored 10 points and added 3 passes. Spartak St.Petersburg (6-1) is placed second in group A. Dragicevic's overall stats this season are: 8.4ppg and 4.8rpg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #11. Former U20 international power forward Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, agency: Interperformances, college: W.Kentucky, currently plays in Bulgaria), who plays in the Bulgarian NBL was not able to help Tundja Yambol (4-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Tundja Yambol was badly defeated 86-68 at home by the higher-ranked Levski Sofia (#3). Milosevic recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 12 rebounds. This season he has very high stats. Milosevic averages: 16.7ppg and 8.3rpg. He used to play for the Montenegrin U20 national team four years ago.

   #12. International power forward Milko Bjelica (205-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Caja Laboral Vitoria in a victory against the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes 91-76 in the Euroleague on Friday night. Bjelica scored only 4 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 29 minutes. This year his overall stats are: 3.6ppg and 2.6rpg in the eight games. Bjelica is also in the roster of the Montenegrin national team.

   #13. International swingman Sead Sehovic (196-89, currently plays in EuroChallenge) helped his Hungarian team Szolnok win their game against the closely-ranked Timisoara 77-71 in the EuroChallenge in Tuesday night's game. He scored 9 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Sehovic's total stats this season are: 8.8ppg, 5.8rpg and 2.3apg. He is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #14. International point guard Taylor Rochestie (185-85, college: Washington St., currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milko Bjelica. But that was another game of his team in Spanish ACB which we would like to mention. Rochestie helped Caja Laboral win their game against the 13th-ranked UCAM Murcia 87-83. He scored 6 points. Rochestie's total stats this season are: 6.1ppg and 2.6apg. He is a naturalized American. Rochestie plays currently for the Montenegrin national team. Apparently he has never played in Montenegro.

   #15. U21 international power forward Marko Todorovic (210-92, currently plays in Euroleague) helped his Spanish team Regal FC Barcelona edge the fifth-ranked Partizan 68-67 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Todorovic scored only 1 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 13 minutes. This year his total stats are: 1.8ppg and 1.9rpg in the eight games. Todorovic is also in the roster of the Montenegrin U21 national team.


The list of other players, who all have Montenegrin passport but never been selected to any of Montenegrin national teams:

   #1. Nikola Mirotic (207-F/C-91, currently plays in Spain) led Real Madrid to a victory against the eighth-ranked Asefa Estudiantes (6-5) 87-74 in a derby game in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night. He scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 24 minutes. Real Madrid (11-0) is placed first in the ACB. So far his team won all eleven games in the Regular Season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Mirotic has relatively solid stats: 13.3ppg and 6.4rpg in the 11 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Montenegrin and Spanish. Despite Mirotic's Montenegrin passport, he currently plays for the Spanish U20 national team and is not eligible to play for the Montenegrin team.

   #2. Miljan Pavkovic (178-G-81, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Czech Republic could not help CEZ Nymburk in their last game. Despite Pavkovic's very good performance the second-placed CEZ Nymburk lost 74-82 at home to the lower-ranked (#3) Hapoel J-M in the group J of Eurocup. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Pavkovic also added 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in 25 minutes. This year Pavkovic's overall stats are: 8.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 5.0apg in the six games.

   #3. Stevan Milosevic (211-C-85, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Georgia) led Olimpi to a victory over the closely-ranked MIA (7-1) 71-62 in a derby game in the Georgian Superleague in Saturday night's game. Milosevic was the top player that evening. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 29 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Olimpi Tbilisi (7-1) is placed first in the Superleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Milosevic is currently seventh on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (first place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Milosevic averages: 15.4ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1bpg in the eight games.

   #4. Bojan Pelkic (206-F-83, currently plays in Greece) was the main contributor in Irakleio's victory against one of league's weakest teams OFI (1-8) 97-94 in the Greek A2 (second division) last Saturday. Pelkic was the top player that evening. He had a double-double by scoring 36 points and getting 11 rebounds. Pelkic also added and 3 steals in 42 minutes. Irakleio OAA (3-6) is placed tenth in the A2. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive loses. Pelkic is currently fourth on the league's list of best blockers with 0.9bpg. This year he also averages: 14.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg in the nine games.

   #5. Boris Lalovic (209-C-81, currently plays in Bosnia) contributed to a Zrinjski HT's victory against the 11th-ranked Vogosca (2-6) 110-102 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I on Saturday night. He was the top player that evening. Lalovic had a double-double by scoring 28 points and getting 12 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in 38 minutes. HKK Zrinjski HT Mostar (4-5) is placed sixth in the Division I. Lalovic has reliable stats this year: 13.6ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.5apg in the eight games.

   #6. Balsa Radunovic (207-F/C-80, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in FYR Macedonia) helped Lirija win their game against one of league's weakest teams Pelister Bitola crushing them 100-66 in the FYR Macedonian Prva Liga in Saturday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Radunovic recorded 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Radunovic is currently fifth on the list of best rebounders and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). He has very reliable stats this season: 13.9ppg, 7.1rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg.

   #7. Experienced Branko Cuic (197-G-78, currently plays in Romania) helped Targu Mures win their game against the 11th-ranked Pitesti 78-64 in the Romanian Division A last Saturday. Cuic scored 9 points, had 10 rebounds and dished 10 assists. Cuic is currently fourth on the league's list of best passers. This season he has very high stats. Cuic averages: 15.3ppg, 6.2rpg and 6.1apg.

   #8. Filip Goranovic (205-C/F-85, currently plays in Bosnia) was the major contributor in a KK Radnik Bijeljina's victory against the 12th-ranked Posusje 77-64 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I on Saturday night. He scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes. Goranovic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #7 with 6.8rpg. This year his other stats are: 14.2ppg in the six games.

   #9. Slobodan Pejovic (192-PG-86, currently plays in Serbia), who plays in the Serbian A League was not able to help Tamis (5-7) in their last game. Despite Pejovic's good performance Tamis was badly defeated 93-75 on the road by the leading Mega_Vizura. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Pejovic also added 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. He has averaged so far 6.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg in the 11 games.

   #10. Marko Ilic (203-F-76, currently plays in Serbia) helped BKK Radnicki win their game against the 14th-ranked Sloga 90-76 in the Serbian A League on Saturday night. Ilic scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He has averaged so far 4.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.4spg.
