We bring you last week's top performances from Montenegrins who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Iva Perovanovic (188-83, currently plays in Russia). She was the major contributor in a Nadezhda Orenburg's victory against one of league's weakest teams Dynamo-GUVD (2-8) 83-69 in the Russian PBL in Sunday night's game. Perovanovic recorded 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds (made all of her six free throws) in 34 minutes on the court. Nadezhda Orenburg (7-3) is placed fourth in the PBL. It's Perovanovic's first season with the team. This year she averages: 9.1ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 54.9% and FT: 83.9% in the nine games she played so far. Perovanovic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Czech Republic. She could not help USK Praha (3-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Dubljevic's very good performance the fifth-placed USK Praha was badly defeated 94-75 on the road by the leading UMMC Ekaterinburg in the group C of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 15 points. Dubljevic also added 5 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Dubljevic's overall stats this season are: 8.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 48.2% and FT: 76.5%. She is in the roster of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international guard Jelena Skerovic (176-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Dubljevic and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Skerovic. She was not able to help USK Praha (3-6) in their game against UMMC Ekaterinburg (8-0). Skerovic recorded 8 points, 9 assists and 4 steals in 38 minutes. USK Praha (#5) was badly defeated 94-75 in Ekaterinburg by the leading UMMC in the group C of Euroleague. Skerovic is currently third on the list of best passers with 6.3apg. This year her other stats are: 7.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 30.3%, 3FGP: 31.4% in the nine games. Skerovic is also a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Shooting guard Anna De Forge (178-76, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: Nebraska, currently plays in Czech Republic) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Dubljevic. But that was another game of her team in Czech Republic ZBL which we would like to mention. De Forge led USK Praha to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams DSK Karlin (3-14) crushing them 101-62. She scored 12 points. ZVVZ USK Praha (16-1) is placed first in the ZBL. De Forge's overall stats this season are: 9.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg. She is a naturalized American. De Forge used to play for the Montenegrin national team back in 2011. Strangely she has never played in Montenegro.

   #5. International guard Snezana Aleksic (173-89, currently plays in Russia) managed to help Dynamo Moscow in a victory against the sixth-ranked Vologda-Chevakata (4-6) crushing them 81-55 in the Russian PBL last Sunday. Aleksic recorded only 4 points in 11 minutes. Dynamo Moscow (8-2) is placed second in the PBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Aleksic averages just 2.7ppg in the nine games. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

Montenegro finish EuroBasket preparation with a win - 18 days ago
Montenegro once again defeated Slovenia, 70-62, in their last warm-up game before the European Championship in Czech. Iva Perovanovic (188-C/F-83) scored 25 points and Angelica Robinson(197-F-87, college: Georgia) added 18. Montenegro opened the game with nine straight points and led 16-4 midway through the first quarter. Jovanovic's 28 points help Montenegro prevail Slovenia - 19 days ago
Montengro defeated Slovenia 72-59 in Podgorica for their second win in pre-European Championship warmups. Milica Jovanovic (189-F/C-89) scored 28 points on shooting 11-of-14 from the field including 6-of-8 behind the 3-point arc. Irena Matovic (186-F-88), Angelica Robinson (197-F-87, college: Georgia) and Kristina Rakovic (186-F/C-94) all aded 10 points. Jelena Dubljevic will miss EuroBasket - 24 days ago
Jelena Dubljevic(191-C-87) will not play at the European Championship for the Montenegrin national team. WNBA champion injured her foot during the warm-up game against Canada and will be sidelined eight weeks. Dubljevic has spent the past three seasons playing in Turkey with Galatasaray and Abdullah Gul University Kayseri.
