Buducnost snatched a tough road win in Kyiv tonight. Cedomir Vitkovac (201-F-82, agency: Beo Basket) scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Montenegrin champions improved at 2-1 record in EuroCup Last 16 Group I. Three teams including Buducnost and Budivelnyk now share top position in the ladder with 2-1 record. Buducnost opened the game with a 9:2 run. Budivelnyk managed to gain the lead midway through the opening quarter 14:13 but Buducnost finished the starting quarter up by two points 20:18. The Montenegrin side opened the second term with eight points in a row to make it 28:18. The hosts answered with a 9:0 run late in the half to surge ahead for a 40:38 lead. Cedomir Vitkovac knocked down 6 points in a row as Buducnost secured a 44:40 halftime advantage. The Kyiv team opened the second half on a 10:2 rally to regain the lead. Artur Drozdov opened a double-digit lead for the hosts midway through the third period 63:51. Budivelnyk seemed to be in a comfortable position heading into the fourth frame 65:55. However Buducnost shocked the home team with 14 consecutive points to tip off the fourth term. Aleksa Popovic connected for key four points in the final two minutes of the encounter and Bunic followed with two free throws to seal the victory for the visitors. Vladimir Mihailovic (193-G-90) provided 14 points, while Bunic added 10 points for the winners. Malcolm Delaney (191-G-89, college: Virginia Tech) answered with 20 points, while Michailis Anisimovas (214-C-84) chipped in 17 points in the loss.

They surged ahead to build what seemed to be a comfortable 8-point buffer before the final term 51:43. But Montenegro unleashed a massive 30:12 rally in the final period to seal the victory.
