   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Iva Perovanovic (188-83, currently plays in Russia). She was the major contributor in a Nadezhda Orenburg's victory against the closely-ranked Dynamo Kursk (7-4) crushing them 87-64 in the Russian PBL in Sunday night's game. Perovanovic had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. Nadezhda Orenburg (8-4) is placed fourth in the PBL. It's Perovanovic's first season with the team. This year she averages: 9.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 54.8% and FT: 78.4% in the 11 games she played so far. Perovanovic is currently a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former U18 international swingman Ana Dabovic (183-89, currently plays in Turkey). She led TED Ankara to a victory over the closely-ranked Canik Bld (6-9) 59-54 in the Turkish TKBL last Saturday. Dabovic was MVP of the game. She recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. Dabovic also added and 4 steals. TED Ankara Kolejliler (6-9) is placed tenth in the TKBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Dabovic is currently fourth on the list of top scorers. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Dabovic averages: 17.9ppg, 4.4rpg, 3.3apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 49.6%, 3FGP: 31.7% and FT: 68.5%. She played for the Montenegrin U18 national team in 2007.

   #3. The Montenegrin player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, currently plays in Czech Republic). Dubljevic contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked VS Praha (10-9) crushing them 80-53 in a derby game in the Czech Republic ZBL on Saturday night. She scored 9 points and added 3 passes in only 12 minutes. ZVVZ USK Praha (19-1) is placed first in the ZBL. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Dubljevic has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.4%(70-122), 3FGP: 17.6% and FT: 89.1% in the 19 games. She is also a member of the Montenegrin senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89, currently plays in Turkey) was the main contributor in Besiktas' victory against the closely-ranked Ceyhan Bld (7-8) 92-77 in the Turkish TKBL in Saturday night's game. Jovanovic was the best player in that game. She scored 28 points (!!!), had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Besiktas CT Istanbul (11-5) is placed sixth in the TKBL. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Jovanovic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #5. This season she has very high stats. Jovanovic averages: 17.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.0apg and 1.7spg. She is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #5. Former international forward Milka Bjelica (193-81, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milica Jovanovic and both played together in the last Turkish TKBL game. Bjelica contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Ceyhan Bld (7-8) 92-77. She had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 17 rebounds. Bjelica also added 6 assists and 6 steals in 39 minutes. Bjelica has very impressive stats this year: 19.3ppg, 10.3rpg, 3.3apg and 3.7spg in the three games. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team two years ago.

   #6. Center Natasa Popovic (194-82, currently plays in Russia), who plays in the Russian PBL could not help one of league's weakest teams Spartak Noginsk (2-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Popovic's good performance Spartak Noginsk was defeated 65-56 on the road by the higher-ranked Energy Ivanovo (#8). She recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 14 rebounds. Popovic also added 2 blocks and 3 steals. Popovic is currently fourth on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (second place). Her overall stats this season are: 5.9ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.4apg, 1.8bpg and 1.9spg. Popovic is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #7. International swingman Eshaya Murphy (182-85, college: USC, currently plays in Russia) faced previously mentioned Iva Perovanovic in the Russian PBL last game. Murphy was not able to help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Dynamo Kursk (7-4) in their game against Nadezhda Orenburg (8-4). She scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. Dynamo Kursk was crushed 87-64 in Orenburg by the higher-ranked (#4) Nadezhda. This year Murphy's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.6spg in the nine games. She is also Montenegrin national team player.

   #8. Forward Milica Milosev (185-93, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Serbia was not able to secure a victory for ZKK Vrsac (3-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Milosev's very good performance the tenth-placed ZKK Vrsac was edged 103-102 in Novi Sad by the higher-ranked Vojvodina (#4) in the group T of Adriatic League. She was the top scorer with 23 points. Milosev also added 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Milosev's total stats this season are: 8.9ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.9apg. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #9. Former international power forward Biljana Turcinovic (186-89, currently plays in Bulgaria) contributed to a 2-point Haskovo 2012's victory against the closely-ranked Dunav 8806 (12-4) 59-57 in the Bulgarian NBL on Saturday night. Turcinovic recorded 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 28 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Haskovo 2012 (8-8) is placed fourth in the NBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Turcinovic has relatively solid stats: 14.4ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.0spg in the nine games. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team two years ago.

   #10. Center Ana Turcinovic (190-93, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Antakya (7-8) in their game against Istanbul Universitesi (7-8) in the Turkish TKBL. Turcinovic scored 8 points. Antakya was defeated 75-69 in Istanbul by the higher-ranked Universitesi (#7). Turcinovic has reliable stats this season: 12.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Montenegrin National Team roster.

   #11. International guard Snezana Aleksic (173-89, currently plays in Russia) couldn't help Dynamo Moscow in their game against Spartak Vidnoye in the Russian PBL. Aleksic cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 3 points in 8 minutes on the court. Her team was badly defeated by 16 points 87-71. This year Aleksic averages just 2.7ppg in the 10 games. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #12. Former U16 international center Milica Radonjic (185-93, currently plays in Serbia) contributed to a Vrbas Medela's victory against the 11th-ranked Celarevo 68-64 in the Serbian A League on Saturday night. Radonjic scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Radonjic's total stats this season are: 4.0ppg and 3.1rpg. She used to play for the Montenegrin U16 national team back in 2008.

   #13. An experienced former international center Hajdana Radunovic (192-78, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Priolo in their game against Taranto in the Italian A1. Radunovic scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 38 minutes. Her team was badly defeated by 16 points 63-47. This year Radunovic's total stats are: 10.0ppg and 5.0rpg in the three games. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team three years ago.

   #14. International guard Jasmina Bigovic (174-79, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Natasa Popovic and both played together in the last Russian PBL game. Bigovic couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Spartak Noginsk in their game against Energy Ivanovo. She scored 6 points. Her team was defeated 65-56. Bigovic has averaged so far 5.2ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.3apg. She plays currently for the Montenegrin national team.

   #15. Former international guard Aleksandra Vujovic (184-80, also represented by LBM Management, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Bosnia couldn't help Celik (9-7) in their last game. Despite Vujovic's very good performance Celik (#5) lost 74-78 at home to the lower-ranked (#9) Athlete Celje in the group T of Adriatic League. She scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 36 minutes. Vujovic has very impressive stats this year: 15.8ppg, 3.8rpg and 3.0apg in the four games. She used to play for the Montenegrin national team four years ago.


One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Montenegrin passport:

   #1. Mirjana Beronja (170-PG-86, currently plays in Adriatic League) managed to help Radivoj Korac Beograd in a victory against the sixth-ranked Mladi Krajisnik (8-8) 72-67 in the Adriatic League last Saturday. Beronja scored 5 points and added 3 passes in 25 minutes. Radivoj Korac Beograd (11-4) is placed third in group T. There are only four games left until the end of the Adriatic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Beronja's stats this year are: 10.5ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg in the 13 games she played so far.

Sumadija Kragujevac (1 ZLS) landed American guard Andraquay Quinnine (176, college: William Woods, agency: BeoBasket). She played most recently at Lovcen in Montenegrin 1A ZCKL. She helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. Quinnine received Eurobasket.com All-1A ZCKL 2nd Team award in 2016. Olimpia CSU Brasov (Liga Nationala) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American center Kristina Higgins (196-94, college: Baylor). It is actually her comeback to Brasov as she has played here before. Higgins She moved there from Buducnost in Montenegrin 1A ZCKL where she played this season. Buducnost Bemax invested in its future by signing Andjela Bigovic (192-C-00) and Dragana Zivkovic(183-G/F-01) to a long-term contract. Both players arrives from Lovcen. Bigovic averaged 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks in six Montengerin League games last season, while Zivkovic averaged 9.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.2 blocks in 14 Montenegrin League games last season.
