Buducnost left their midweek EuroCup home loss behind to come up with an impressive road success in the Adriatic League championship. They overcame Cibona in Zagreb to gain 12-8 record. Vladimir Mihailovic (193-G-90) scored 23 points to pace the winners.
Buducnost were quick out of the blocks firing 26 points in the opening quarter. They grabbed a 10-point lead ten minutes into the game. Cibona slowed their opponents down in the second quarter but still trailed by 10 at halftime 34:44. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the third term. Buducnost entered the fourth frame up by 10 points 58:48. The Montenegrin side held the hosts to 12 points in the fourth period and eked out a tough victory at the end. Aleksa Popovic (201-SF-87) nailed 10 points in the winning case. Andrija Zizic (207-C-80, agency: Beo Basket) answered with 13 points for Cibona. Jerel Blassingame (175-PG-81, college: UNLV) had 13 points in the loss.

KK Ulcinjska Rivijera Ulcinj (Erste Liga) inked 26-year old Montenegrin power forward Filip Patkovic (200-90). He played most recently at Debreceni Egyetem 2nd team in Hungarian NB I. B. The previous (14-15) season Patkovic played at KK Danilovgrad (D2) where in 24 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg and 5.6rpg. KK Sutjeska Niksic (Erste Liga) agreed terms with 32-year old Hungarian point guard Dontay Thomas (187-88kg-84, college: La Salle, agency: Octagon Europe). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Thomas played last season at Falco KC Szombathely in Hungarian A Division. In 14 games he had 10.0ppg, 1.6rpg and 3.4apg.
