29-year old forward Manuel Johnson (201-F-83, agency: Court Side) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Teodo Tivat and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13. He had the game-high 23 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Teodo Tivat in his team's victory, helping them to beat Centar BP (#9, 3-10) 89-82. Teodo Tivat is placed at 2nd position in Montenegrin league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Teodo Tivat will need more victories to improve their 10-3 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Johnson as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Manuel Johnson averages this season 9.6ppg.
Second best performed player last round was Danilo Draskovic (207-C-85, agency: BeoExcell) of Jedinstvo. He is Serbian center in his first season at Jedinstvo. In the last game Draskovic recorded impressive 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Jedinstvo to edge slightly higher-ranked Lovcen (#4, 8-5) by 5 points 71-66. Jedinstvo's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Draskovic is a newcomer at Jedinstvo and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Aaron Mitchell (187-G-89, agency: BBEH Cokrlija) of Centar BP (#9). Mitchell showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, five rebounds and six assists in the last round. Despite Mitchell's great performance Centar BP lost 82-89 to the higher-ranked Teodo Tivat (#2, 10-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Centar BP can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Mitchell he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Mitchell has individually a great season in Montenegro. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 2.5apg (9th best).
