23-year old guard Milos Latkovic (196-G-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Lovcen and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had the game-high 25 points adding seven rebounds and nine assists for Lovcen in his team's victory, helping them to beat Primorje 1945 (#8, 3-13) 81-66. Lovcen maintains the 4th position in Montenegrin league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lovcen will need more victories to improve their 10-7 record. In the team's last game Latkovic had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Lovcen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Latkovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.0ppg) and assists (3rd best: 5.3apg).

Second best performed player last round was Emir Hadzibegovic (204-PF-96) of Danilovgrad. He is a forward in his first season at Danilovgrad. In the last game Hadzibegovic recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Danilovgrad to edge the higher-ranked Ulcinj (#5, 9-8) by 3 points 70-67. Despite this victory Danilovgrad slide down in the standings to 9th position. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Danilovgrad managed to get this year. Hadzibegovic is one of the most experienced players at Danilovgrad and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Jayon James (198-F/G-92) of league's second-best Sutjeska. James showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the last round. Despite James' great performance Sutjeska lost 79-84 to #1 ranked Teodo Tivat. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Sutjeska needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 12 victories and 5 lost games. James has a very solid season. In 15 games in Montenegro he scored 9.1ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Milos Pajovic (205-C-94) of Lovcen - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Milos Popovic (197-PF-98) of Teodo Tivat - 22 points
6. Petar Ivanovic (197-F-97) of Danilovgrad - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Milan Stanojevic (183-G-86) of Teodo Tivat - 12 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Milos Djurisic (194-G-88) of Teodo Tivat - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Elvis Cekic (201-F-97) of S.Centar - 11 points and 10 rebounds
10. Nikola Rondovic (207-PF-91) of Ibar Rozaje - 22 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
