Milos
Djurisic
Milos Djurisic (194-G-88) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Teodo Tivat and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 28-year old guard had the game-high 20 points adding three rebounds and five assists for Teodo Tivat in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Sutjeska (#3, 12-6) 73-70. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Teodo Tivat to consolidate first place in the Montenegrin Erste Liga. Teodo Tivat have a solid 14-3 record. In the team's last game Djurisic had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Teodo Tivat and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Milos Djurisic averages this season 12.0ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old Serbian center Dejan Bjelic (209-C-90) of Jedinstvo. Bjelic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Jedinstvo to edge slightly higher-ranked Ulcinj (#5, 9-9) by 3 points 77-74. This victory allowed Jedinstvo to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-10 record. Bjelic is one of the most experienced players at Jedinstvo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Emir Hadzibegovic (204-PF-96) of Danilovgrad (#8). Hadzibegovic scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Hadzibegovic's great performance Danilovgrad lost 76-77 to the higher-ranked Ibar Rozaje (#2, 13-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Danilovgrad can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-15 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Hadzibegovic he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Hadzibegovic has individually a great season in Montenegro. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.2ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 8.8rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Arso Lekovic (200-SF-90) of Jedinstvo - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Milos Popovic (197-PF-98) of Teodo Tivat - 18 points and 10 rebounds
6. Bojan Ratkovic (183-PG-92) of Danilovgrad - 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Djoko Salic (213-C-95) of Sutjeska - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Danilo Draskovic (207-C-85) of Jedinstvo - 13 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Eldin Kalic (200-PG-97) of Ibar Rozaje - 20 points and 4 rebounds
10. Nikola Djokovic (190-SG-89) of Sutjeska - 16 points and 3 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
