The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Miners (8-1) on the court of first ranked Kristiansand on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Kristiansand 68-62. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Miners. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Miners won fourth quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kristiansand (11-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Miners at the other side keep the second place with one game lost. Kristiansand will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Miners will play on the road against Hop BBK in Bergen and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Tromso was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Persbraaten (7-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Varden (4-5). Persbraaten defeated Varden 89-75. Persbraaten maintains third position with 7-3 record having six points less than leader Kristiansand. Varden at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Persbraaten will play against bottom-ranked NTNUI (#9) in Trondheim in the next round where they are favorite. Varden will play at home against STIF Whalers (#4) in Sandefjord and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Bergen supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Fyllingen BBK (4-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Hop BBK (1-9). Fyllingen BBK defeated Hop BBK 90-74 on Sunday. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains sixth position with 4-6 record. Hop BBK lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Fyllingen BBK will meet at home league's second-placed Miners in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hop BBK will play against the league's second-placed Miners (#2) in Kongsberg.

Hop - Fyllingen BBK 74-90

The game without a history. Fyllingen BBK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains sixth position with 4-6 record. Hop BBK lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Fyllingen BBK will meet at home league's second-placed Miners in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hop BBK will play against the league's second-placed Miners (#2) in Kongsberg.
