The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Ullern (13-3) in Bergen on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Gimle (8-8) 67-61. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Ullern. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-16. But Ullern won second period 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American guard D'lesha Lloyde (183-86, college: Clemson) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import power forward Amber Land (188-85, college: E.Michigan) contributed with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international guard Tina Moen (183-86, college: IPFW) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds for Ullern. Gimle maintains fourth place with 8-8 record. Ullern at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Gimle are looking forward to face bottom-ranked NTNUI Basket (#6) in Trondheim in the next round. Ullern's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Oslo Tigers.

Defending champion keeps the third position with five games lost. It was a quality performance for Anna Hammer who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Ammerud's coach Patxi Exposito felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Charlene Gris came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for NTNUI Basket in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ammerud. Newly promoted Ammerud maintains second place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Ullern. NTNUI Basket lost their eleventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Ammerud's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Oslo Tigers.

In the last game of round 15 bottom-ranked NTNUI Basket was beaten by Oslo Tigers on the road 49-44.



Oslo Tigers - NTNUI Basket 49-44

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Oslo Tigers' (4-11) home victory over bottom-ranked NTNUI Basket (1-15) 49-44 on Saturday. NTNUI Basket was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 14-4 charge of Oslo Tigers, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NTNUI Basket to just 4 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded NTNUI Basket 43-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for guard Eeva-Maria Mannikkoe who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Anab Ovidie accounted for 6 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Oslo Tigers' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Charlene Gris came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Kaja Krogh (178-91) added 6 points and 10 rebounds respectively for NTNUI Basket in the defeat. Oslo Tigers maintains fifth place with 4-11 record. NTNUI Basket lost their eleventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. The game without a history. Ammerud led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NTNUI Basket to just 6 points in first and second quarters and to 12 points in first half. Ammerud dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to NTNUI Basket's 32. Ammerud forced 28 NTNUI Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 45-27 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by NTNUI Basket's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ammerud made 7 blocks. It was a quality performance for the former international guard Anna Hammer (181-89) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds.
