There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in 1Div.. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The most exciting game of round 17 in the 1Div. took place in Kongsberg. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Kristiansand (11-4) to leader Miners (14-0) 75-72 in the game for the first place. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Kristiansand. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-72. Miners have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. Kristiansand at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Miners are looking forward to face STIF Whalers (#4) in Sandefjord in the next round. Kristiansand will play at home against OSI in Oslo and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Important game to mention about took place in Sandefjord. Fourth ranked STIF Whalers (9-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging second-ranked Kristiansand (11-4) 76-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Kristiansand. STIF Whalers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 9-5 record. Kristiansand at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. STIF Whalers will play against league's leader Miners in Kongsberg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kristiansand will play at home against OSI in Oslo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Oslo between Persbraaten and OSI. Third ranked Persbraaten (10-5) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked OSI (8-7). Persbraaten managed to escape with a 3-point win 67-64 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of OSI. Persbraaten maintains third place with 10-5 record having three points less than leader Miners. Loser OSI keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Persbraaten will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. OSI will play against the league's second-placed Kristiansand (#2) and hope to secure a win.
The game between sixth ranked Varden (6-8) and 9th ranked NTNUI (2-13) in Tromso ended with biggest points difference. Varden beat guests from Trondheim 74-61. Varden maintains sixth place with 6-8 record. NTNUI at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Varden's next round opponent will be Fyllingen BBK (#7) on the road.



STIF Whalers - Kristiansand 76-75

Important game to mention about took place in Sandefjord. Fourth ranked STIF Whalers (9-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging second-ranked Kristiansand (11-4) 76-75 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Kristiansand. STIF Whalers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 9-5 record. Varden - NTNUI 74-61

The game between sixth ranked Varden (6-8) and 9th ranked NTNUI (2-13) in Tromso ended with biggest points difference. Varden beat guests from Trondheim 74-61. The game was mostly controlled by Varden. NTNUI was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Varden maintains sixth place with 6-8 record. NTNUI at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Varden's next round opponent will be Fyllingen BBK (#7) on the road.

BLNO Norway-BLNO World 105-97 BLNO Norway overcame BLNO World 105-97 in All Star Game. The World Team won the first period 31-23 dominating the court. Team Norway managed to reduce the gap in the second frame and trailed 52-47 at the halftime. Team Norway continued their run in the third period and later grabbed a 85-73 lead in the start of the last quarter. They managed to seal a final 105-97 win.
