BK Miners won Division 1 Final as they beat STIF Whalers 90:62. They started with 24-14 and added 25-11 in the second frame. Both teams nailed 17 points each in the third quarter, while BK Miners added 26-18 in the last quarter. Henry McCarthy (203-C/F-91, college: Lincoln Memorial) erupted with 34 points and 14 rebounds and Anders Engen (182-PG-93) notched 16 points. Per Bertelsen (196-F-84) ended up with 22 points in the losing effort.
Kristiansand Pirates meanwhile finished third beating Persbraten 85:83 in overtime. The Pirates started with 23-19 and had 4-point advantage at the halftime. Persbraten reduced to 2 points after 21-19 in the third frame and won the fourth quarter 12-10. Kristiansand Pirates needed 12-10 in overtime to seal the victory. Uldis Blums top-scored for the winners with 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Arne Danielsen (197-F-83, college: UNC Pembroke) had 25 points and 13 boards. Theodor Dahl Aliferis delivered 22 points in defeat and Christian Storing Bakken netted 17.

Montana head men's basketball coach Travis DeCuire has added depth to the Grizzly backcourt, signing 6-1 point guard Lars Espe (5'11''-PG-98) from the Gimle BBK club in Bergen, Norway, to a National Letter of Intent on Monday. Espe, an 18-year-old, was named Young Player of the Year last season in the BLNO, Norway's premiere professional basketball league. Nordberg, Fyllingen BBK and Aalesund Sharks celebrated Division 1 titles in Norway. Nordberg won Division 1 East title with a 19-3 record. In the last game they beat OSI 57-51 as Bendik Aunan (185-PG-90) stepped up with 14 points. Halvor Poulsson (191-F-91) and Emil Aas Stoltenberg followed him with 13 each, while Joacim Bergh added 8.
