KL All-Stars took on the University of Utah basketball team recently. The Norwegian selection could not keep up with the tempo in the second half and had to surrender at the end 44:79. The Utes went on a 21:10 run to build a 19-point lead at the final intermission. The visitors finished off the hosts with a 25:9 rally in the fourth period. Rachel Messer (175-G-90) led the Utes with 19 points. Marianne Sand (184-C-93) answered with 9 points for Norwegian selection. Tina Moen (181-G-86, college: IPFW) added 8 points in the losing effort.
