U16 ESTONIA - U16 NORWAY 69-34

Estonia is the winner of Group G in Tallinn. They blasted Norway 69-34 for the first place in this pool. It means that the host of U16 EuroBasket Division B finished as No.13 at this event, while Norway is the last ranked team with 0-4 record in Group G. The hosts dominated during the entire game against Norway. They made 16-point lead in Q1 and increased it to plus 26 for the next ten minutes. Norway was not able to respond and Estonia celebrated 35-point win at the end. Marie Roosalu (177-F-96) led Estonia with 17 pts and 9 rebounds. Kadri-Ann Lass (177-F-96) had 15 points and 8 rebs, and Kadri Uiga (183-F-97) added 10 pts, plus 15 rebs. The top-scorer in Norway was Nini Skjulhaug (169-SG-96) with only 6 points. Alida Dale (179-PF-96) had 5 pts and 5 rebs.

Kvinneligaen Round 4: Ullern beats Hoybraten in a derby game - 4 days ago

It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Kvinneligaen, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Oslo: Ullern (#2) and Hoybraten (#4). Ullern (3-0) smashed visiting Hoybraten (1-3) by 43 points 80-37. Forward Ingrid Selvik (178-F-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Asker, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 3. The 24-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 19 rebounds, while her team outclassed Hoybraten (#4, 1-2) with 32-point margin 74-42.
