Sweden smash Norway in Group C opener of the U18 European Championship in Division B. The Swedish players were too much for the Norwegian squad in a 110:55 victory.
Sweden dominated the court and never looked behind in the game. They opened the campaign with 25:15 as Johan Lofberg (199-SG-95) made a jump shot and then Adam Ramstedt (203-SF-95) brought 27:15 early in the second. Niklas Larsson (200-SG-94) increased the lead to 20 points, while Johan Lofberg sent the teams to the lockers at 47:29. The third period was a nightmare for Norway that got 39 points in their basket. Dawit nailed three for 86:41 and then he nailed another one for 96:41. Adam Ramstedt gave Sweden three digit number and Musie brough the final points.
Johan Lofberg and Niklas Larsson top-scored for the winners with 20 points each, while Adam Ramstedt nailed 18. Nicholas Spires (209-F/C-94) followed them with 14 points in a win. Nikola Blatancic (192-F-94) finished the game with 12 points in the losing effort, while Nicholas Seach (180-PG-94) poured in 8.

Best players of Norwegian BLNO round 4 - 3 days ago

American Jamell Harris (206-F-91) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Froya Basket and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 4. The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out Baerum Basket (#6, 2-3) 90-86. It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in BLNO, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. DR Congolese Power forward Djo Yele (203-F/C-82) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Asker Aliens, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 3. The 34-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds, while his team edged out Gimle BBK (#6, 1-1) in overtime 92-88. Asker Aliens is placed at 7th position in Norwegian BLNO.
