Iceland U18 - Norway U18 81:65

Iceland kept winning at U18 European Championship Division B. They posted the third straight win at the tournament beating Norway. Iceland are on top of the ladder in Group C. Norway suffered the third straight loss and remained winless.
Iceland eked out an 18:16 lead after ten minutes. Norway bounced back in the second term. They surged ahead to take a 33:32 halftime lead. Iceland increased the tempo in the third quarter. They fired 26 points to secure a 5-point lead heading into the fourth stanza. Iceland took over completely in the final period. They outgunned Norway 23:12 in the final ten minutes and sealed the victory at the end. Martin Hermannsson (190-SG-94) provided 20 points to lead the charge. Elvar Fridriksson (180-PG-94) added 18 points, while Valur Valsson (182-PG-94) contributed 14 points for the winners. Nikola Blatancic (194-F-94) answered with 25 points for Norway. Nicholas Seach (181-PG-94) and Marko Lepovic (193-F-94) had 7 points apiece in the loss.

Coach Lars Gunnar Sonsteby leaves Baerum Basket - May 22, 2016

46-year old coach Lars Gunnar Sonsteby left Baerum Basket Bekkestua (BLNO). He helped them to make it to the final. The previous (13-14) season Sonsteby coached at Ullern (Kvinneligaen). He contributed to his team winning the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. Centrum celebrate BLNO Gold - Mar 14, 2016

FINAL Tromso - Centrum 71-85 Centrum earned the BLNO Gold. They toppled Tromso in the Final on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Centrum. Tromso managed to win second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Tromso 39-22 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds.
