Montenegro ease past Norway at the U18 European Championship in Division B. The winners improved to 3-1 record to share the top place in Group C with Sweden and Iceland. Norway meanwhile fell at 0-4 record.
Montenegro started the game with 14-12, but did not expect a massive surge from Norway. The latter erupted with 28-19 in the second period as Espen Fjaerestad (192-SG-94) brought 40:28. Montenegro replied with a 7-0 run to trail 5 points early in the third and then Vasilije Vusovic (191-G-94) gave them 46:44 advantage. The teams exchanged the lead several times and Norway grabbed 66:65 with 10 minutes to go. The last quarter meanwhile belonged to Montenegro that needed 22-11 burst to seal the victory.
Milos Pajovic (205-C-94) top-scored for the winners with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Nenad Vukovic (187-G-94) had 11. Vasilije Vusovic poured in 10, whilst Veselin Kovacevic (200-F-94) and Luka Djurovic (190-G-95) scored 9 apiece. Espen Fjaerestad replied with 20 points in defeat and Vuk Krivokapic (193-SF-95) scored 15. Nikola Blatancic (194-F-94) netted 14, while Nicholas Seach (181-PG-94) delivered 9.

The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 49-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Centrum made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Baerum Basket - Nidaros Jets 102-94 Baerum rallied past Nidaros Jets to complete the sweep of the series. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-16. Tromso - Kongsberg 61-76 Kongsberg rallied past Tromso in the opener.
