Ulriken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oslo Tigers to just 6 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Ulriken held Oslo Tigers to an opponent 18.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.9 percent accuracy of the winners and made 31-of-38 charity shots (81.6 percent) during the game, while Oslo Tigers only scored fourteen points from the stripe. Ulriken forced 33 Oslo Tigers turnovers. Oslo Tigers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Lise Breivik (181-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Anita Grimstad (177-88) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Ulriken players scored in double figures. Guard Merve Payasli (-91) replied with 8 points and 13 rebounds and forward Uzoma Ifejilika (-92) added 7 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Oslo Tigers. Oslo Tigers' coach Morten Gjerde gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
Ullern managed to win third quarter 9-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by Ullern helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Justina Udenze (189-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds. Argentinian-American guard Sthefany Thomas (173-89, college: Clemson) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Gimle players scored in double figures.
