It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Kvinneligaen, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders.
The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest Oslo Tigers' (1-3) road victory over bottom-ranked BC Asker (0-4) 55-44 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-16 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Oslo Tigers dominated on the defensive end, holding BC Asker to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 23 BC Asker turnovers. Guard Eeva-Maria Mannikkoe (-83) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Shirin El-Masrouri (173-93) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Siri Granheim (178-94) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Oslo Tigers left bottom position moving up to fifth place. It was BC Asker's fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Oslo Tigers are looking forward to face league's leader Gimle in Bergen in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gimle's coach Gunnar Gran felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Lise Breivik (181-93) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Ulriken. Gimle have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Defending champion Ulriken keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Gimle will play against Oslo Tigers (#5) on the road in the next round. Ulriken will have a break next round.

They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Ulriken's 40 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Gimle forced 19 Ulriken turnovers and outrebounded them 45-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Nigerian center Justina Udenze (189-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Kristine Kristiansen (173-75) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international guard Sigrun Eskeland (-83) added 20 points in the effort for Ullern.
