American forward Jonathan Jones (196-F-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for Tromso, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7. The 24-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Asker Aliens (#7, 0-6) with 21-point margin 94-73. Tromso maintains the 3rd position in Norwegian BLNO. They are still close to the very top. Tromso would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Jones turned to be Tromso's top player in his first season with the team. Former Kean University star has very solid stats this year. Jones. Jones is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.4ppg) and averages impressive 55.8% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old American Delano Thomas (203-F-81) of league's second-best Gimle BBK. Thomas had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Gimle BBK cruised to a 85-74 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Ammerud Bskt (#6, 1-5). Gimle BBK's second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Thomas is a newcomer at Gimle BBK, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 11.6rpg and 4.1apg.
Third on the list of top players last round was guard Alain Nzeyimana (G-90) of Froya Basket (#4). Nzeyimana showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Froya Basket, leading his team to a 96-59 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Ammerud Bskt (#6, 1-5). Froya Basket needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Nzeyimana has a very solid season. In 7 games in Norway he scored 14.0ppg.

The teams were tied at the halftime before a 27-13 burst in the third period. Kristinn Palsson top-scored for the winners with 34 points and 9 boards, while Kari Jonsson netted 19. Kregor Hermet and Sander Viilup (186-SG-97) answered with 12 points each in defeat. In Day 2 Iceland U16 destroyed Norway U16 109:48. Iceland dominated the whole game and reached 61-point victory due to the win in all four quarters. Kristinn Palsson led the well-balanced team with 16 points, while Halldor Hermannsson and Kari Jonsson added 15 apiece. August Nicolay Volckmar delivered 18 points in the losing case. Denmark U16 posted a defensive 55:38 win against Norway U16. In the second half the Danish side allowed the opponents to score only 7 points in the third and then the last quarters. Kasper Victor Christiansen was the only player to score in double digits as he posted 10 points. Sindre Jensen and August Volckmar had 6 points each in defeat. Finland U16 edged Norway U16 83:56. Norway managed to win the last period 19-12 but it was too late to catch up with the opponents. Matias Suvanto (185-SF-97) paced all the winners with 12 points, while Aatu Kivimaki netted 11 and Riku Laine chipped in with 10. Harald Frey answered with 23 points for the losing side in the game. Estonia U16 finished the campaign edging Norway U16 72:51. Madis Soodla led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Siim Markus Post had 16 points. Harald Frey delivered 19 points in the losing case and Flemming Ravndal brought 10.

The teams exchnaged th eelad several times before 18-11 rally in the last quarter from Norway. Sjur Dyb-Berg top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Mikkel Kolstad (184-G-95) added 14. Rasmus Stolbjerg Hansen poured in 16 points in defeat and Mathias James Kelly scored 15. Finland M18 smashed Norway M18 101:66. Finland controlled the entire game and clinched their fourth consecutive win. Alexander Madsen (199-F/C-95) top-scored for the winners with 29 points and 8 rebounds, while Henri Niemisto had 17. Sjur Dyb-Berg poured in 17 points in defeat and Johannes Dolven collected 12 points and the same number of rebounds. Estonian team finished their campaign with the win over Norway M18 60:55. Norway led in the majority of the game but failed short in the last quarter. Estonia M18 needed a 24-17 rally to post the last victory. Jaagup Russak (183-PG-96) led the way with 17 points and Kristofer Kurvits had 14. Sjur Dyb-Berg finished the game with 15 points in defeat, whilst Mikkel Kolstad added 13.
