The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Gimle (9-1) in Oslo on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Ullern (5-1) 73-66. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Gimle. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Gimle was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 25-14 charge of Ullern, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Gimle's 32. Ullern forced 23 Gimle turnovers. The former international guard Tina Moen (181-86, college: IPFW) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Kristine Kristiansen (173-75) chipped in 7 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Ullern's coach Inge Kristiansen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KL All-Stars took on the University of Utah basketball team recently. The Norwegian selection could not keep up with the tempo in the second half and had to surrender at the end 44:79.
