The most interesting game of round 5 in the 1Div. was a home defeat of 6th ranked Sverresborg (1-5) by fifth ranked Fyllingen BBK (2-4) who outscored them by 40 points 95-55 in the game for the fifth place. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK maintains fifth place with 2-4 record. Sverresborg lost third consecutive game. Sverresborg at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with five games lost. Fyllingen BBK are looking forward to face higher ranked Hoybraten (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sverresborg will play against the league's second-placed Varden in Tromso and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Varden (3-3) against fourth ranked Persbraaten (2-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Varden was crushed by Persbraaten in Oslo 102-81. Persbraaten moved-up to third place. Varden at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Persbraaten will play against league's leader Miners in Kongsberg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Varden will play against Sverresborg and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Cuban-American Juan Ferrales (188-G-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Kongsberg and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16. BLNO Round 16: Kongsberg edges Centrum by three points - 3 days ago
Sixth-ranked Centrum (9-10) made lots of trouble for first ranked Kongsberg (15-2) in Oslo on Thursday. The visitors from Kongsberg managed to secure only three-point victory 100-97. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. American Guard Nick Victor (196-G-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for Gimle BBK, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
