The most exciting game of round 11 in the Kvinneligaen took place in Bergen. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 4th placed Ulriken (4-5) to third ranked Ullern (7-2) 69-67 on Sunday evening. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points. Ullern made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Ulriken turnovers. The former international guard Kristine Kristiansen (173-75) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. The former international guard Sigrun Eskeland (-83) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Lise Breivik (181-93) answered with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Ulriken. Ullern moved-up to second place. Defending champion Ulriken keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Ullern's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Oslo: Ammerud (#3) and Oslo Tigers (#6). Ammerud (7-3) crushed visiting Oslo Tigers (1-11) by 19 points 59-40. It was a great evening for center Marianne Sand (184-93) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Kristina Kroge helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Aysun Erdogan (-87) responded with 7 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ammerud have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 7-3 record having four points less than leader Gimle. Oslo Tigers lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Ammerud's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Ullern.

An interesting game for Gimle (10-1) which hosted in Bergen 3rd placed Ullern (7-2). First ranked Gimle managed to get a 11-point victory 73-62. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-62. Gimle outrebounded Ullern 45-30 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Nigerian center Justina Udenze (189-89, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 29 rebounds. Argentinian-American guard Sthefany Thomas (173-89, college: Clemson) accounted for 22 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals for the winning side. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. The former international guard Sigrun Eskeland (-83) came up with 21 points and the former international guard Kristine Kristiansen (173-75) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively for Ullern in the defeat. Former international Forward Maren Hoff Austgulen (182-F-91) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Ulriken, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9. The 25-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, nine rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Gimle Pride (#5, 2-6) 70-60. Very significant was Asker's (#3, 5-3) victory against 4th placed Hoybraten (2-5) 61-45. The game was mostly controlled by Asker. Hoybraten managed to win fourth quarter 14-2. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Asker forced 21 Hoybraten turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 22-year old point guard Sigrid Hardie (163-PG-94) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Bergen and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 8. She had the game-high 12 points adding eight rebounds and six assists for Bergen in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Gimle Pride (#5, 2-5) 59-57.
