23-year old center Justina Udenze (189-C-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Gimle and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. She had a double-double of 24 points and 29 rebounds, while her team beat Ullern (#2, 7-2) 73-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Gimle to consolidate first place in the Norwegian Kvinneligaen. Gimle has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. Udenze turned to be Gimle's top player in her first season with the team. Central Connecticut State College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Udenze. Udenze is in league's top in points (2nd best: 12.0ppg), assists (3rd best: 1.0apg) and averages solid 3.0bpg.
Second best performed player last round was Sthefany Thomas (173-G-89). She is Argentinian-American guard in her first season at Gimle. In the last game Thomas recorded impressive 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course Gimle cruised to a 73-62 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Ullern (#2, 7-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Gimle consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 10-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Thomas is a newcomer at Gimle and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#1). She also registered 10.0 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Kristine Kristiansen (173-G-75) of league's second-best Ullern. Kristiansen showcased her all-around game by recording 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the last round.
