Sixth-ranked Sverresborg (2-6) used its home court advantage to challenge leader Miners (7-0) on Sunday. The visitors from Kongsberg managed to secure only two-point victory 64-62. However their fans expected much easier game. Sverresborg was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 17-11 charge of Miners, which allowed them to win the game. Undefeated Miners have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Newly promoted Sverresborg stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Miners are looking forward to face league's second-placed Hoybraten in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sverresborg will play against Persbraaten (#5) in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Persbraaten (2-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Hoybraten (3-3). Hoybraten managed to secure a 9-point victory 87-78. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Hoybraten moved-up to second place. Persbraaten at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Hoybraten will play against league's leader Miners in Kongsberg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Persbraaten will play against Sverresborg (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Nidaros Jets Trondheim (BLNO) added to their roster 27-year old point guard Thomas Mjos (181-90) from Centrum. In 26 BLNO games he recorded 10.0ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.5spg last season. He helped them to win the league title. Mjos was selected to Norwegian BLNO All-Star Game back in 2012. He represented Norway at the European Championships U20 Division B in Austria seven years ago. Umea BSKT (Basketligan) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-88kg-87, college: New Hampshire). He played most recently at Baerum Basket in Norwegian BLNO. In 28 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 6.9apg (leader !!!) and 4.0spg (leader !!!) last season.
